VISA INFORMATION
1. DOCUMENTARY REQUEREMENTS
− One application form, filled out
− Two Photos 2″ x 2″ (Photos should not be over six months)
− Original passport(which requires at least six months validity)
− A copy of passport(the page contains your information)
Note: Applying by mail, please enclose prepaid return envelope (For USA use Priority
Mail Express; For Canada use DHL only). The Embassy will not be responsible for
the damage or lost of your passport.
2. VISA FEES AND SERVICES
− $ 10.00-Lao origin (Services only)
− $ 50.00-US and Canadian citizen
− The visa fees must be in the form of money order or certified check, pay to Embassy
of the Lao P.D.R.
− Upon receiving the submission, The Embassy need ten business days to process Visa.
In case of, you need to expedite the visa to procedure, twenty dollar will be charged
additionally.
3. VALIDITY OF VISAS
All types of visas are issued for one entry and must be used within two months after the
date of issue.
4. THE LENGTH OF STAY
30 days from the date of entry and can be extended by the Lao immigration office.
